Crafting Professions "Weaponsmithing"

Weaponsmithing

Weaponsmithing is the art of making weapons--and parts that can be assembled into weapons--out of metal. Weaponsmiths use the tools of any blacksmith: hammers, tongs, anvils, and forges. Novice weaponsmiths struggle to make their first dagger, but eventually a master weaponsmith can make legendary swords that are among the most powerful known to the people of Atreia.

The Weaponsmithing Skil

Learn your new skill
Becoming a weaponsmith is simple--just go to Anteros (in Sanctum) or Logi (in Pandaemonium) and pay a fee: 3,500 Kinah or so, depending on your current influence ratio. You’ll start with 1 Expertise Point (out of 99 possible). You’ll also have a Weaponsmithing experience bar in the Crafting tab of your Skills window. Each time that bar fills up, you gain another Expertise Point until you’ve hit your current maximum. The  higher your Expertise Points, the better recipes you can attempt--and ultimately, the better weapons you can make.

Craft your first items
When you first obtain weaponsmithing, you immediately gain one recipe: Steel Ingot. Your Weaponsmithing Master (Anteros or Logi) will also offer you the "Steel Chisel Supply" work order that can be repeated until you level and open up more Work Orders. You gain additional recipes through questing, looting fallen enemies, and from merchants such asNakia (Sanctum) and Mima (Pandaemonium). As you gain Expertise Points, Anteros and Logi will offer more difficult--and more rewarding--work orders.

Advance to the next Tier of Crafting
Whenever you reach the maximum possible Expertise Points, return to Anteros or Logi and pay enough Kinah to raise the ceiling on your Expertise Points, according to the table below. Note that prices may vary somewhat depending on your faction’s current influence ratio. You get one Expertise Point immediately, which moves you up into the next tier.

Noble Weapons

Whenever you make a weapon (not just a material for a weapon), you have a random chance to make a Noble version of that weapon. Noble weapons deal more damage, offer bigger bonuses, and sometimes have more manastone sockets than their ordinary counterparts.

Gathering Materials

Metals are obviously important to Weaponsmiths, so keeping pace with your Extraction skills will keep you supplied with the raw materials for your Weaponsmithing. Depending on your Extract Vitality skill level, you can gather from the following ore nodes:
